Kolhapur Jewellers Gain Export Insights at GJEPC Seminar

GJEPC, in collaboration with the Gold Silver Artisan Association Maharashtra Foundation, successfully conducted a seminar on 22^nd December aimed at equipping Kolhapur’s jewellery industry for global exports. The seminar garnered significant interest, with over 90 jewellers from Kolhapur actively participating in the informative sessions.

The seminar brought together industry experts to provide valuable insights and guidance to aspiring exporters. Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director, GJEPC, presented an overview of the Council’s activities and various MSME schemes. He further emphasised the potential of e-commerce by presenting a detailed guide on utilising India Post’s postal export platform.

Ms. Naheed Sunke, Asst. Director, National Events, GJEPC, provided information about the Indian Exporters’ Grievance Scheme (IEGS), while Mr. Mihir Shah, an Advisor and Trainer for International Business, explained the essential steps involved in successful export ventures. Representatives from the Kolhapur branch of India Post were also present, offering valuable information about the Postal Export Centre and its services.
