Daily Averages Gold Clearing Data - July 2024
The volume of gold transferred in July increased by 2% month on month (m/m) to 16.4 mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred up 0.9% m/m to $39.3 bn. There were 5,270 transfers, 7.7% higher m/m, with the clearers settling on average 3,111 ounces per transfer, 9% lower m/m.
Daily Averages Silver Clearing Data - July 2024
For silver, the volume of ounces transferred decreased by 2.7% m/m to 229.9 mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down 2.2% m/m to $6.8 bn. The number of transfers decreased by 7.9% m/m to 2,607, with the clearers settling on average 88,158 ounces per transfer, 5.6% higher m/m.
The average gold/silver price ratio in July Increased to 80.5 from 78.6 in June.
