Tietto achieves record quarterly gold production

Tietto Minerals set a quarterly gold production record of 37,111 ounces at its Abujar Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire during March Quarter 2024.
Milling rates increased to 410,000 tonnes per month in March 2024 from 381,000 tonnes in the previous six months, with Q1 2024 costs to be calculated in Tietto’s quarterly report in April 2024.
Howard Golden, with over 40 years of experience in managing exploration activities across six continents, has been appointed as Corporate Exploration Manager by Tietto.
Managing Director and CEO Matt Wilcox commented:
“Tietto produced a record 37,111oz gold in Abujar in the March quarter as we continue to move towards full production. We expect to achieve continual operational improvements as the year progresses.
“Tietto will make its final debt repayments totalling US$6.5 million in the June quarter; we look forward to being debt-free and in full production by the end of H1 2024. Tietto’s gold sales remain unhedged, and we are benefiting strongly from the current gold prices.
“We also welcome Howard Golden to the Tietto team to lead our exploration team, bringing an extensive background in the mining industry, including as former Managing Director of Arrow Minerals and roles with Nordgold, Rio Tinto, Marvel Gold, Kinross Gold Corporation, and WMC Resources, as well as being an adjunct associate professor at the University of Western Australia.”
