Novo Resources defines Belltopper Gold Project exploration target
Novo Resources Corp (TSX:NVO, OTCQX:NSRPF, ASX:NVO). has defined an exploration target at the Belltopper Gold Project in Victoria Belltopper is within the gold prolific Bendigo Tectonic Zone and around 50 kilometres SSW of the high-grade world-class Fosterville Gold Mine.
The exploration target was defined through geological modelling of priority target reefs, integrating results from the current 2024 drilling program to update a 3D model of priority target reefs at Belltopper.
The exploration target for the Belltopper area is based on seven reefs that present high prospectivity based on geological, drilling and historical data. A diverse range of mineralisation styles have been demonstrated by current work programs, and the project’s evolving geology model provides multiple, high priority, drill-ready targets.

“An exciting, high-grade gold opportunity”
“Our Belltopper Project is an exciting, high-grade gold opportunity located in a tier-one gold region,” said Novo executive co-chair and acting CEO Mike Spreadborough.
“The Novo geological team has done an outstanding job to define the geology, mineralisation and prospectivity of Belltopper supported by a successful period of work delivered at the Project, including the six-hole, 2,529-metre, diamond drill program completed in Q2 this year.
Novo notes the project’s potential for intrusion hosted/intrusion related mineralisation and Fosterville-style, world-class, high-grade gold to be tested in forward drill programs.
The company is focused on developing a program that aims to grow the exploration target, while systematically testing an evolving pipeline of high priority, drill ready, conceptual shallow and deeper targets.
“Belltopper is an exciting opportunity and has the potential to grow in size and scale and the focus will now turn to expanding the prospectivity of the project,” said Spreadborough.
