    Fri Aug 16 2024

KUCHERA, a Germany-based technology company specialising in haulage operational efficiency in mining has announced partnership plans with Eureka Mine in Zimbabwe. The move is expected to boost the implementation of the results-focused optimisation solution, “TeamUP”, which was developed to address fundamental issues in mining that are barely addressed.

It is also set to transform Eureka’s operations as it is one of the leading gold mines in Zimbabwe that is achieving a 93 percent gold recovery rate and is projected to produce 1 660kg in 2024. In a statement, Kuchera has expressed excitement over the partnership and said it looks forward to working with Eureka.

“We are excited to collaborate with Eureka Mine in transforming their operations and achieving their objectives with Kuchera’s cutting-edge technology,” it said. The company is keen on bringing innovation in the mining industry, which will immensely boost productivity as well as ensuring that companies adapt to the digital era where technology empowers people to work smarter in the mining industry.

In 2023, Kuchera partnered with Murowa Diamonds for the deployment at scale of its results-focused optimisation solution, which was developed to address basic pain points in mining that often impact productivity and standardisation. It has also secured several partnerships for equipment that optimises hauling efficiency in the mining sector. It also partnered Machinery Exchange, which specialises in earth moving equipment that focus on equipment sales, equipment rental, spare parts, filtration and power generation.

“We have deployed Kuchera’s ‘TeamUp’, a performance management that as a service, an industry first, enables teams to set and achieve their own objectives effectively,” said the company.

“At Kuchera we believe in the power of autonomy and empowerment and our goal is to equip mining teams with the necessary tools and insights without drowning them in unnecessary data or overwhelm them with just

another dashboard solution,” said the company.

With “TeamUp” the company said it can now define goals based on their unique operational needs, track progress in real time, which in turn provides actionable business intelligence insights for proactive changes and achieve efficiency by clear objectives and continuous feedback, which can play a pivotal role in making informed decisions quickly.”
