Seligdar Holding plans to increase the reserves of the Nizhneyakokitsk mining complex in Yakutia by 27.4 million tonnes of ore or 23.3 tonnes of gold, the company said. In 2024, Seligdar developed and submitted a report on the reserves of the Smezhnoe-1 and Nadezhda deposits for expert examination. Geological exploration work at these sites was carried out from 2016 to 2022. The planned increase is expected to be around 2.3 million tonnes of ore or 1.94 tonnes of gold, with an average grade of 0.84 gold per tonne (g/t).

Similar work is being done at the Khvoynoye deposit. Seligdar is preparing to submit a report on the reserve calculation. The planned increase is expected to be 21 million tonnes of ore, 16 tonnes of gold, with an average grade of 0.76 g/t. In addition, the holding has completed fieldwork and developed a reserve calculation report for the flanks of the Trassovoye, Smezhnoye, and Nadezhda deposits. The planned increase is around 4.1 million tonnes of ore or 5.4 tonnes of gold, with an average grade of 0.77 g/t.

In 2023, the boundaries of the Nizhneyakokitsk ore field were expanded through the addition of the Spornoye deposit, at which Seligdar also plans to start geological exploration in 2025. The Nizhneyakokitsk production complex is Seligdar's largest mining unit in terms of production volumes. In 2023, 3.142 tonnes of gold were produced there, accounting for 38% of the holding's total gold production. Current gold reserves stand at 32.8 tonnes.

Seligdar, one of Russia's 10 largest gold miners, is controlled by management. In addition to a gold cluster, Seligdar includes a tin cluster and other entities.
