  • Ora Banda delivers high-grade gold hits at Riverina, Waihi and Little Gem prospects

    Tue June 10 2025

Ora Banda Mining Ltd (ASX:OBM, OTC:ESGFF) Ltd has uncovered a suite of strong drill results from ongoing exploration at its Riverina, Waihi and Little Gem prospects in WA, which supports its strategy to grow resources and extend mine life at the Davyhurst Gold Project.

“These strong new drill results across three distinctly different areas are testament to prospectivity of the Davyhurst Gold Project,” managing director Luke Creagh said.

"We remain extremely active on the drilling front, with five surface rigs turning and five underground rigs active which combined are producing more than 850 metres of diamond core a day.

This accelerated drill rate is a key driver for the business as we look to rapidly grow our mineral resources, extend existing project mine life and identify new mines to develop.

“We think the Waihi results in particular are very significant as they continue to promote this deposit's potential to become Ora Banda's third underground mine.

"Likewise, the Little Gem – Sunraysia results are also exceptional given this is at an early greenfields stage on very wide space drilling.

“Proving approximately five kilometres of consistent and highly prospective strike, again with multiple lode surfaces, is an outstanding start to exploration in this area and we remain excited about the potential size of this system."

    Riverina Deeps delivers depth continuity

At Riverina Deeps, drilling between 500 to 1,000 metres below surface continues to return high-grade gold intersections, with numerous hits above 20 gram-metres.

Notable results include 1.7 metres at 76.4 g/t gold, 11.8 metres at 9.8 g/t, and 4.3 metres at 24.6 g/t, demonstrating both high tenor and strong continuity at depth.

Drilling confirms the system remains open below 1,000 metres, with mineralisation hosted in a structurally complex mylonitic shear corridor and closely associated with coarse free gold and sulphidation zones.

Since October 2024, the company has completed over 30,000 metres of combined diamond and reverse circulation drilling at the site.

    Waihi yields new mineralised zone

A seven-hole program at Waihi has discovered a new mineralised zone in the footwall of the main lode.

The standout result – 8.7 metres at 9.3 g/t gold, including 0.4 metres at 90.6 g/t – was returned from 330 metres below surface and remains open in all directions.

    Additional high-grade intercepts included 1.5 metres at 18.6 g/t and 0.4 metres at 18.0 g/t.

The company plans to follow up with further drilling in financial year 2026 to test the newly defined zone’s extent and underground development potential.

    Little Gem confirms regional scale

At Little Gem, wide-spaced reconnaissance drilling has extended the mineralised carbonate system along more than 5 kilometres of strike between Little Gem and Sunraysia.

Assays received from three of the 16 planned holes confirmed gold mineralisation in all intersected carbonate units, with best hits including 7.0 metres at 3.7 g/t and 5.0 metres at 4.8 g/t.

Importantly, the drilling supports a robust geological model for this greenfields target, with further infill drilling planned to refine the structural architecture and continuity of gold-bearing zones.

Ora Banda is operating ten active drill rigs across its surface and underground programs, generating more than 850 metres of diamond core daily.
