Wed Mar 25 2026
A working meeting with
representatives of the Swiss company SICPA SA, known for its security
technologies and product tracking systems, was held under the leadership of the
Chairman of the Tax Service, Almambet Shykmamatov. This was reported by the
press service of the GNS.
The discussion also involved Philippe Amon, Chairman of the Board and CEO of
SICPA SA, as well as Jean-Philippe Godin, Director of Strategic Development,
and other company employees, along with representatives from various
departments of the Tax Service.
The agenda included the issue
of cooperation in implementing a traceability system for gold mining and
related minerals, adapted to the conditions of Kyrgyzstan. This will help
organize the work of small mines, improve sampling processes, control the supply
chain of ore and gold, and minimize the risks of illegal circulation of these
resources.
Philippe Amon emphasized the importance of the meeting and approved the GNS's
decision to implement a monitoring system in the gold mining industry.
He also noted that the successful implementation of this project would create a
foundation for further cooperation and allow for similar solutions to be
implemented for other types of minerals.
