Astral Resources has best-ever gold results at Theia

Astral Resources NL (ASX:AAR) managing director Marc Ducler talks with Proactive’s Tylah Tully about the outstanding gold drilling results returned from its Theia prospect.

Ducler said that two final drill holes from a four-hole diamond drilling program delivered exceptional outcomes, including 1,000 gram meters of gold along the drill length in one hole.

He explained that visible gold occurrences and these results were significantly increasing confidence in resource updates.

Theia is a major focus for Astral, with efforts now shifting to refining the mineral resource estimate, expected to be released in Q1 2025.

“These are all necessary de-risking steps so that we can put out a really strong pre-feasibility in the June quarter,” Ducler stated.

Additionally, he shared updates on broader drilling activities across key prospects, including geotechnical work at Kamperman, Rogan Josh and Think Big.

This will support pre-feasibility studies and metallurgical sampling, further de-risking the company’s operations.

Astral Resources is progressing toward a pre-feasibility study with updated gold price assumptions and strong resource conversion from inferred to indicated ounces, aiming to capitalise on its growing resource base.
