The National Bank of Poland (NBP) has purchased 82 tonnes of gold so far in 2023, capitalizing on recent price declines. Despite a nearly 30% drop in gold prices since January, Poland continues to increase its reserves, aiming for a total of 700 tonnes. Central banks globally remain positive about gold, with surveys showing 45% plan to increase holdings and prices expected to stay strong. Poland's strategy highlights gold's role as a secure asset amid economic uncertainty and rising inflation pressures.
