State Oil Fund purchased 15.8 tons of gold in Q2

In the first half of this year, the revenues of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) amounted to 8.8 billion manats, while expenditures totaled 7.3 billion manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the Fund.

According to the information, due to continued gold purchases and rising prices, gold's share in the portfolio reached 28.8%, which is 3% higher compared to the previous quarter. During the second quarter alone, SOFAZ purchased 15.8 tons of gold.
