LBMA Benchmark Prices Data Tables Are Moving

Fri Nov 14 2025

LBMA will be moving the historic precious metal benchmark price tables for gold, silver, platinum and palladium from its public website to its Members' Portal from the week commencing 24 November 2025. The daily prices and graphs pages will remain unchanged.

If you hold a licence to use the benchmark data or are using it for non-commercial or educational purposes, you will be able to access the historical table data via the LBMA Members' Portal. This applies whether you are an LBMA Member and/or Subscriber or not. If you are a non-LBMA Member, you will be able to apply for access via our Portal, which will be reviewed by our Membership team. You will need to confirm your licence status, or that you are using the data for non-commercial or educational purposes, which we will subsequently cross-check with the licence provider.

We ask users to self-certify, but please note that any users who certify that they have a licence and are later found not to have the appropriate licence will have their access to the data removed.

LBMA is committed to upholding transparency in the market. Therefore, we will continue to publish the most recent daily auction price relating to all four metals on the next working day after publication, and chart data, on the LBMA homepage, accessible to all.

The LBMA Gold and Silver Price benchmarks are the global benchmark prices for unallocated gold and silver delivered in London, and are administered by ICE Benchmark Administration Limited (IBA). The LBMA Gold and Silver Prices are intellectual property and are protected by applicable laws. Any use of the benchmark for commercial purposes including pricing, valuation, settlement, references in contracts or financial instruments requires a valid licence from IBA. For more information, please contact IBA's licensing team at iba-licensing@ice.com.

The LBMA Platinum and Palladium Price is administered independently by the London Metal Exchange (LME). LME licences its data for a wide variety of purposes, including distribution and the creation of derived products. Particular uses of the LBMA Platinum and Palladium prices require a usage licence. For information on licensing arrangements relating to these prices, please refer to the LME website.
